Who We Are

Homefront Maintenance is a veteran-led property maintenance business based in Exeter, with a long-term aim to grow by employing former service personnel transitioning into construction and property maintenance roles. Military experience brings organisation, adaptability and calm decision-making under pressure — qualities that support reliable, structured maintenance delivery across managed properties.

Designed for Managed PortfoliosSupporting portfolio performance

We support landlords and letting agents by helping keep properties maintained, inspected and running smoothly between tenancies and throughout occupancy.

We regularly assist with:

• Routine property condition visits when owners are not local
• Clear maintenance reporting with practical recommendations
• End-of-tenancy and pre-tenancy readiness checks
• Supporting compliance-related inspection works
• Coordinating small remedial works before they escalate
• Acting as a reliable local point of contact when needed

Our role is to support the day-to-day maintenance demands of managed properties, helping landlords and agents keep portfolios running smoothly and properties performing as they should.

Our Approach

When a work order is received, we make early contact with the tenant — typically within 24–48 hours — to introduce ourselves, gather additional information where needed and arrange a suitable time to attend.

Where issues can be resolved during the first visit, we confirm instructions and complete works promptly. If further work is required, we provide a clear quotation and return once approval is received.

Throughout the process we:

• Communicate directly with tenants to arrange access and minimise disruption
• Keep agents and landlords informed at each stage of the job
• Collect supporting photos and condition details where appropriate
• Work flexibly with key collection, key safes and tenant availability
• Maintain clear records of attendance and completed works
• Provide structured updates and prompt invoicing once works are finished

Need Work Assessed Promptly?

If you have maintenance works to assess, price or schedule, send us the property details and any supporting photos. We’ll review the instruction, make early contact with the tenant where needed and confirm the next steps quickly — whether that’s arranging attendance or preparing a clear quotation for approval.
